Volunteering to be a Research Assistant
We sometimes offer opportunities for experience and mentorship to individuals interested in learning more about conducting psychological research and applying their skillset to meaningful work.
- Time Commitment: Volunteer research assistants are expected to be available for at least 8 hours per week for at least 6 months. Volunteers are welcome to expand their time, dedication and contributions from there depending on their abilities and availability.
- Responsibilities Involved: The tasks involved would depend on your abilities and interests, and may include things like data collection, data analysis or writing.
- Ideal Candidates: Have a strong interest in continuing education and a career in a relevant field (e.g., psychology research, evidence-based clinical practice), and would typically be an undergraduate or graduate psychology student or recent graduate with relevant experience or coursework to draw from.
- How to Apply: Email your CV or resume to [email protected] & complete the Volunteer Research Assistant Interest Form
Please note: We are not currently seeking new volunteer research assistants. However, if you would like to be contacted should an opening arise in the future, we still encourage you to fill out the interest form and send your CV or resume to [email protected].
